SFERAX has a highly qualified and experienced department specially dedicated to the production of high precision shafts. It adapts flexibly to the most diverse requirements and its engineering office has all the needed skills to support you in your designs.

Based on more than 60 years of experience, the company is able to provide customised manufacturing according to drawings, a simply h6 guide shaft or other special tolerances. SFERAX shafts can be used for all kinds of applications that do not necessarily require bearings, such as guide columns, piston rods, rings, etc.

Our strength also lies in the heat treatments available. Whether you require surface-hardened, through-hardened, case-hardened, Tennifer treated, nitrided or other surface treatments, we offer you a wide range of products to meet your needs and our expertise in the field, as well as trusted partners exclusively in Switzerland to carry out your projects.

Our manufacturing program is as follows:

  • Surface-hardened shafts
  • SFERAX standard -> Manufactured in quality class I-III & IIIR
  • SFERAX in inch -> Manufactured in quality class I-III & IIIR
  • SFERAX Tube -> Manufactured in quality class I-III & IIIR
  • SFERAX INOX -> Manufactured in quality class I-III & IIIR
  • SFERAX Chromed 5 à 10 µm -> Manufactured in quality class III – h7
