SFERAX BIMO 6090 A

2210.006090.20

Application
The BIMO ball bearing enables high-precision linear and rotating movement while allowing for a
certain degree of play due to the operation of the needle bearing (mainly for large diameters).
Recommendations
The BIMO ball bearing design keeps it away from any axial shaft load, since the latter causes friction between the needle bearing cage and the circlip. High rotation speeds require constant lubrication of the BIMO (see the groove with holes for this purpose), since the lubricant serves to reduce friction and heat. Moreover, hight axial acceleration combined with rotation are working conditions that require very special attention. In case of axial loads or special requirements, please contact us for an alternative.
In any case, it is necessary to test the linear set in real working conditions before validating the project design.
